Our Life
We were married on Oct. 3, 1998 in the Crystal Garden at Castle McCulloch. Check out the Photo Album page for pictures of the wedding.
 We live in North Carolina in a 50s house which we have enjoyed decorating. Kati likes to sponge paint walls and has done that in the living room and the bathroom. We also hung borders in both of these rooms and are planning to hang another one in the other bathroom.
Kati works at AT&T Wireless Services as a Project Manager, and she keeps quite busy. Sometimes her desk looks like this one! Thankfully, that doesn't happen too often!
Kati also just started a new career as a Creative Memories consultant. She is having a lot of fun with it so far, teaching people how to create decorative scrapbooks.
 We both love the beach and try to go to the Outer Banks of North Carolina (Hatteras Island and/or Ocracoke Island) twice a year. We went to Hatteras for our honeymoon. We recently took a Celebrity cruise to the Caribbean and found many new beaches to love! We enjoyed it so much we are going on another cruise only three months later.
 We both enjoy all kinds of music. We usually have CDs playing all day in our house (thank goodness they don't wear out!) and Kati listens to them in her CD ROM at work. Check out the music page to find out more about some of our favorites.

Our Church
 We attend Grace Church. Kati works in the A/V room about twice a month running the computer system which shows the song lyrics. John often helps out at the church during the day with maintenance, running errands, odd jobs, etc. We both participate in a kids' church program called Power House. We pick up kids from the housing projects, bring them to church, have a really fun time (yes, church can be fun!), generally love on them, and take them home again.
Our Hobbies
 Kati cross-stitches. She has not, however, done any patterns to keep, they have all been gifts so far!
John likes reading - mostly Christian books. He has read many and we have many full bookshelves - practically a Christian reference library! We also sometimes read books aloud to one another, and have enjoyed that.
We do jigsaw puzzles, and have glued and framed some of the completed ones to display in our house.
 We both enjoy taking pictures and have quite a few photo albums. We have 6 of the wedding alone! (Including honeymoon, studio shots, a scrapbook, and photos taken by the guests with disposable cameras). Kati has taken up scrap-booking as another hobby, and has completed 2 wedding scrapbooks. She is now working on another one (about our life together).
 We are planning to try our hands at building miniature doll houses for another hobby to do together. Kati has always loved miniatures and John enjoys woodworking, so we think it will be fun for both of us. Click here to see a picture of the first house we plan to build.  Kati takes voice lessons, and although she doesn't sing like the angels yet, she is working on it!
Our Cats
 We have two cats. Sammy is 6 years old, and Savannah is a kitten. They love to play and nap together! We will try to add a picture of them to the site later, so you can see for yourselves how cute they are.
